My MSI Wind

Here is a topic on the msiwind.net forums where you can read how you can transform your 3 cell battery into a 7400mAh Battery with 8 hours of life. The article is very well written and I think that everyone with a little bit of hardware knowledge will be able to make this upgrade. I for one will prefer to buy the 6 cell battery when it will be available in my country.

I've made a poll where you can chose what is the color that you would prefer for your MSI Wind to have. The order I've made some days ago is for a White MSI Wind some my choice is White. So what is your preference ?

Because of the cost of the materials and the battery the price of the MSI Wind notebook will raise. This means the 3 cell battery version will be $499 and the 6 cell battery version will raise to $549. Although the price for the 6 cell is $549 a lot of stores have put a $599 price on it. Will the Wind become even more expensive?

In Romania, the country from where I'm from, this notebook can be found at almost all online stores only in the pink version. Why ? I have no idea, but when i called to make my order of the white version they've told me that I will have to wait almost a month for them to arrive. Before I've made the order I've checked to see if maybe other stores would have the white version. All around I could only see pink. For me pink is not a good color for a notebook. Is this a problem in your country too?

Because this blog is at it's beginnings i will post a video of the unboxing of the MSI Wind netbook that I've found on Youtube. Hopefully I will be able to post my own unboxing video after I will receive this little but great gadget.

Even if it is a very small netbook, the MSI Wind can handle a lot of games. This is possible because it has an Intel Atom 1,6 processor and it comes with 1 GB of memory that can be upgraded to 2 GB. The small screen can be a little hard to get used too but once you have played some games on it, you will be just fine. Here is a demonstrations of the MSI Wind at work:
